hey guys i think i might leave the forum, the reason why is because the new warriors movie is going to bring wanna be gangsters and other idiots to the forum. i wont beable to handle seeing that crap becuase indiana is full of wanna be gangsters as it is and gangs run all around here so just think about the crap that will come up when the movie comes out. Im not gonna leave until i start to see this stuff happening. I actually prayed that it wouldnt be made can you belive that!! well anyway i put up with the gangs around indiana enough as it is, im always having to watch my back and (i hope this isnt going against the forum rules) but fight alot of them just to stay safe(im not going into detail over it ) but i know the gang rating will go INSANE when the movie comes out.I did want to see it but when i started thinking about it i realized NOPE!!!!! its going to ruin all of our pride for the original warriors movie and start having people with their pants all the way down to thier ankles,t shirts that look like dresses,due rags,hats,fake chains,gum rappers on thier teeth,etc
coming on this forum acting like they know what the warriors movie is all about.

(i know some people dont really care about stuff like this but when i see it it makes me go crazy!)

I hear ya but I think you are getting ahead of things. The remake has been planned for a couple of years now. Let's see if it actually gets made.

yeah i hope it dont, to bad all the lives taken because of the movie will be on tony scotts hands....i know at least someone will be hurt, you cant put that many gangs together in one place

get's made. I thought I heard it was called off?

Anyhow, I don't even know why they would call it "The Warriors". The only thing
it has in common with the original really is a group of guys trying to get from
point A to point B with their lives intact. Do you know how many films have that
plot!?

Contemporary gangs from L.A., don't even call themselves names like The Warriors,
or The Rogues or The Baseball Furies. That's old skool.

I do agree with you tho that this film may have a negative impact on wannabe
youngsters. But then again, there are already tons of "gangster" films already out.

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it doesn't happen. If Tony Scott wants to make a movie about an LA gang that uses karate, that's fun.

He shouldn't however slap The Warriors name on it and call it a remake!

For example Wesley Snipes had a film in the pipeline based on the warriors, but it was all motorcycle gangs instead of street gangs.  It was going to be a project with the Ruff Ryders team but got scrapped in development.

Good job they scrapped it, do you remember the last two biker gang movies! Biker Boyz and Torque. They were both a word that rymes with grit!
