Re: Comics
I still have the occasional read at the news stand, but i've not bought any for years.
I collected most of the major Marvel titles. Got to the point where everything was over-saturated with x-men, so I called it quits just after the onslaught storyline. Contined collecting the Hulk for a while after, then decided to put my cash towards other things. Still have a few hundred issues stored away, but 95% of my old collection has been sold.
I like the recent animated films. Brings back a touch of nostalgia

Re: Comics
I used to read comics when I was a kid. Back then, we didn't have Marvel or DC comics, the ones we had were mostly Italian comics translated into Croatian or Serbian language(both Croatia and Serbia have been part of communist Yugoslavia then). I remember the most popular comic book hero in Croatia was Alan Ford, and in Serbia it was Zagor.

I've grabbed a few classic Frank Miller Daredevil issues the last few days...
Also, anybody read the new Jonathan Ross (I know!) & Tommy Lee Edwards comic "Turf"? Issue 2's been delayed but the first was really good stuff.

Re: Comics
I've never really been into Comics, But the person i was getting my Warriors comics from would always send me a few random comics alongside, most of the ones i've read i've liked.
Does anybody know if there are any good zombie related comics?

Re: Comics
"The Walking Dead" gets nothing but high praise. I got a copy of "Zombies! Feast" #5 when i was checking out some horror comics. It was pretty badass, they have great covers to. Might be selling it soon.turnbull gbr wrote: Does anybody know if there are any good zombie related comics?
I'd also recommend the Evil Dead spin off comic "Army of Darkness".
Also, does anyone know how much a Ms. Marvel #1 from 1977 is worth? I just bought it along with a few others and I think I got a good price...

Re: Comics
Does that not devalue the comic? Are the comics still in one piece?4nik8 wrote: I don't just collect - i have my own bound books created from runs of original 60s and 70s titles

Re: Comics
That depends entirely on one perspective as to the value of a comic! For me, the value is that, at any time, and with comparative ease, I can grab a volume off a shelf, and read a story anywhere from the first decade of the entirety of the Marvel universe, without having to root through dozens of “long boxes”, and then deal with plastic, boards, and tape!turnbull gbr wrote: Does that not devalue the comic? And, to the horror of the “speculators”, the comic is trimmed along the spine such that it is no longer a separate issue, but instead, one huge volume!
