Breaking news about the WARRIORS

I wouldn't worry about it too much.  They're just using the old book cover design for promotional purposes and they know us long time warriors fans would get a kick out of it.  Its not a representation of what will feature inside the actual comic.  The first five issues are a screen adaptation.

Just thinking; if this conclave 09 goes ahead, we could try and get these guys for a comic signing stint, being that theyre new york based.  Barring shipping lateness, all issues should be out for the summer.

Hey TCM; if your browsing this thread, what do you think to the ophans leader sketch?  Have they done your favorite character justice?  I think they've got the eye spot on.  I dig seeing pencil works on comic book pages.  Inks and colours sometimes takes away the original feel of a sketch.  Ive already put in a reserve at my local store for this line.

I asked Derek about posters of the AD and sketches, and this is what he replied:

We are working on the print and poster license. We will probably only be able to sell the posters in the US though as someone else owns the rights in Europe.

But I'll let you guys know more as soon as I do.

I for one really want evrything to do with the comic.

You've just got to look in the right places.  You wont find this line in your local W H Smiths.  Go online and look for the nearest speacialist comic book store that is in your area.

If there's non within reasonable traveling distance, dont worry. most stores will offer you a mail order service.  The warriors comic will either be solicited next month, or in decembers issue of previews at the latest (Stores order roughly 3 months in advance from Diamand distribution which is UK's main importer.  Any comic line that is availible in the states; can be in british stores the day after it hits american shelves (usually delivery days are a thursday).
If your still having trouble, try the main chain store; Forbidden planet (they were our rivals when I was in the trade). http://www.forbiddenplanet.com/categories/Type/21/Comics
Bear in mind that you wont be able to place an order UNTIL the comic has been solicited for the store.
A smaller independent store will appreciate your custom more, and its likely you could get your comic a little cheaper.

I think he did a great job. So much in fact, that I commissioned a Orphans leader sketch from Dibari.
