I'd be sure to give it a read as well if they ever made one
Comics!
Re: Comics!
I'm actually surprised that there hasn't been a Warriors comic yet, I mean, the movie has a comic book style for it and with all the colourful gangs, a comic would work out perfectly.

Having said that, if they ever published a Warriors comic book, I would definitely read that.
Who would publish something like that? I would guess probably not DC. More likely Marvel or Dark Horse.
A Warriors comic book? I'd go with Marvel or a more indie license as far as publishing goes. I could see it happening on the Vertigo license, but it's unlikely.
Out of all the candidates you listed, I think Dark Horse is most likely. Marvel's kinda trying to cover its tracks as far as licensed comics go (too many embarassments) as far as I can tell. DC... eh, not sure how many licensed comics I've seen of DC.
Anyways, I'm a huge comics fanatic. DC is the best, but I'll be damned if I don't love some old-school Marvel action. Pre-90s. Some of their newer stuff is regaining coolness, though. Check the Marvel universe's Civil War. It's pretty amazing so far.
Oh, and my favorite heroes? Blue Beetle and Booster Gold.

Re: Comics!
From around the late 50s to the mid 60s our barber in town had several boxes of comics. Everytime I went he'd let me take a handful home with me and then bring them back next time and exchange them for more.
Read a lot of Superman, Flash, Fantastic 4, Hot Stuff
, Spiderman, Thor etc. What I'd give to go back in time and buy em when he closed down. Lotta big money issues there although the condition would'nt have been the best.
My dad has told me he remembers seeing the #1 issue of Superman a few times when he was helping at picking up newspapers when he was little. Chould almost retire on those babys.

Re: Comics!
Not a grail, which implies a specific item of acquisition, but more a mission:
To read the entirety of the Marvel universe from its inception (which most concur with me is cover date 11/1961 (Fantastic Four #1)), up to 09/1970, in order
Currently, I’m approximately 30.7% complete for 06/1969...

Re: Comics!
I used to have a lot of first appearences of various X-men characters, post giant size. For years, you could pick up issues like Rogues 1st in Avengers annual and Gambits 1st in the back issue bins for as little as 50p, then the big boom in the mid 90s shot the prices up.
I sold most of my collection a few years back; just after the onslaught crossover. I needed the space. Used to buy at least 40 titles a month plus back issues (I worked in a comicbook store so got first dibs on all the gems from peoples collections that we bought).
Still got sevral hundred issues of Thor and Hulk stored away. Still have the very first marvel comic I bought as a child, which was amazing spiderman 194.
