You guys may debate on this topic if you want but Today I was looking through some books and found a sign in the book that looked similar to a ring my grandfather wore.
My mom told me he was a a very big part of it. Right now Im doing what I can. From what Im seeing though it has alot to do with Religion.

The mason Society
originally came from term Freemasons--masonaries and has some history with Templers.
dates back to the Normans and Saxtons during the CRusades.
Here in the US it evolved into the "Masonic Temple" Lodge
and the offshoot Lodge of the Shriners.

they are like philanthropists (apparently).
they have special handshakes (very subtle) e.g.wrapping their thumb in a different direction when shaking hands.
