[Baby Joker]

Anyone else write poetry or lyrics?
Here's one I wrote when someone I knew died from suicide last year...
This may suck compared to all of ya'lls but...it's what was running through my head when it happened.


                                              Unknown Angel
Tell me why...? Why'd you abandon everyone...? You left all of us that cared.
You had a child. A little girl. How's her momma gonna say "Your father left this world?"
What's she going to say when she gets older? Now that you're not there to hold her.
I just hope somehow some way. You can hear me say...

I've got an Unknown Angel Watching over me.
Telling me, "Even though it hurts so bad, you still got to breathe."
Tell me why did you have to leave? I'm so wounded that death got your touch. I didn't know one person could cry so much...

well I'll be gosh-darned. I was digging through my old things and found one of my old poems. check this out.

Farewell

As I lie here with a small silver blade halfway covered in my own blood. My tears once a puddle, now forming a flood.

What I turn to for triumph only lead to my own demise. Do you know what it's like going through life with blurry, teary eyes?

Now bathing in a pool of my own blood, I am indeed a sorry sight. For one look at my severed vein gives anyone a fright.

I know now what I did was irrational but it far too late for a second thought. I've cried, I've kicked, I've screamed, I've fought.

My pathetic excuse of an attempt to protect my sanity devoured me. The constant thought on giving up on all humanity over powered me.

I'm a week excuse for a soul. A sorry mess of a being. Being judged on what I appear. The inside they are not seeing.

My inside can be just as ugly as the outside. If not, twice as frightening.

This approaching death is what I deserve on this night filled with thunder and lightening.

It hurts so bad...what a pitiful way of dying. Suits me too well. So I will say my farewell. The pain I can't bear.

So to end it quickly, and to finally please everyone; I reach into the side drawer pulling out my classmate's gun.

One fire to the temple. Oh, the burning pain! Never again will I disgrace this world with my hideous presence again...

Ah yes....death...my sweet slumber. My life ended and so did all the hell. To my family... those that I love...I'm sorry...

Deal with the Devil

I made a deal with the devil
My behavior was high but now its at a low level
Now Im a rebel without a cause
I feel as if Im made without flaws

The Devil swallowed my pride
Feeling the pain in my heart gave me no mercy so I cried
What am I doing? What wrong with me?
Examine my past and you will see

I've overcome my incidents and slain the devil
I will never sell my soul to a another being
Because the soul is the most important thing

This is a poem that I wrote a while back. I think I posted it in the fanfiction section awhile back, but I don't feel like digging through all the posts there to see if I did or not. As such, I'm putting it here.

Creatures of the Night

What is a bustling urban metropolis by day,
Becomes a quiet urban wasteland by night.

A place where men look into the deepest,
Darkest depths of their souls.

For the darkness conceals all manner of things.

The sounds of unknown men wandering in alleys,
The sight of bored teenagers in the lamplight,
The smell of coppery blood spilling onto the street,
It's owner unknown, a victim of more senseless violence.

The trundling roar of a train,
Running over my head on an elevated trestle,
Filled with late night commuters headed for home,
The lights shining unto dark shadows for split seconds.

The denizens of the night revealing themselves.

I walk among the dregs of society.
The criminals, the pimps, the vagrants,
None trying to conceal their identities,
For the cleansing light of day will wash away their sins.

From the front step to the inside,
It is a whole other world.
Light, warmth, the people I love by my side,
But they are unaware of the things out there.

It is a different world once darkness falls,
I know it, for I have witnessed it.

I only truly live whilst among the creatures of the night.
