its that feeling, that feeling when you first pick up that mic and your in front of a sell out house and its your show...everybody there is for you. its that feeling you get as you clear your throat...the lights come up and you put the mic up to your mouth...the feeling when you yell those first couple words and the place goes crazy. that surge the runs into your body when you get into the crowed so your that much closer to the people. its that one moment when music embodys your soul and you become one...when for that moment nothing matters but you & the mic, when you know everything your saying the people are hearing and there reacting to everyword...the past shows dont matter, and you have no worries for tommrows show, beacuse today..right now...in this moment...your a rock star and your giving it 150% and every single word is hitting like a bomb....its that feeling when you put that mic down and the whole house goes crazy and doesnt want anything but for you to keep doing what you do best......that is my addiction...

In almost the exact same way... singing. I love singing, singing on stage is like being shot with a dart of adreneline. Singing in school is like a drug, because teenagers disagree, they disagree with everything, especially my singing, but by the end of the song it's like... it's like they have to cheer and clap because I don't sing badly and I just sung something to so foreign to them, to them, forcing them in a way to realize that, yes it's strange and weird and uncool but it's good. It's good music and that's what counts that's why someone deserves applause. And they have to learn to understand that someday.

Performance is such a great addiction.
Like when you pick up your guitar and your playing and singin with everyone clapping along to the song.
When they start singin along too, there singing your words, singing what you feel.
Its fantastic.

And when im doing stand up and everyones laughing along with you.
Theres no better feeling.

Man that's real sincere. Spoken straight from the heart man, it sounds so detailed, makes you feel like your there. I'm glad your able to get that feeling, seeing as around town it's the hardest task ever to get a spot on the bill at a local rock show (I play bass and sing in a punk rock band). One of these days who knows, we might play a mixed music show together!

My addictions? This forum is probably number one. Then movies. Movies of any kind. I'm a huge movie geek. Can't get enough of them. I've got about 130 DVDs and 40 VHS tapes, last time I checked.

And, I'm also pretty much obsessed with certain fictional characters. The Punks (from the warriors), the Tremor Brothers, the Reservoir Dogs, the Gecko Brothers, etc.

Oh, and Tropical Mango Gatorade.
