hey guys, with the new "warriors" explosion on ebay, with the action figures, and all the stuff that will suddenly appear, on ebay after the game comes out and the dvd comes out.
i thought it might be a good idea to talk about ebay courtesy. i used to think of ebay as pretty much the same as love and war, all's fair!!! lol
but, when i came here a few other's and myself started checking with each other, before we would sniper another user on warriors stuff, on ebay. to make sure it wasn't another member of this site, or worse a friend, on here! because there used to be not that many of us, who even looked in the warriors category. but there is quite a few more of us now! ( 8) KOOL!)
but my question is this, besides the few i talk to off the site, should i be courteous to all here as well?? which, i don't mind in the least, but i expect the same courtesy!! i ask because i noticed this on user on ebay, who has snipered 3 action figures from under people, at the last second. i don't know if it's somebody from here, or not. I DON'T LIKE SNIPERS!!! i try not to do it to other people, unless under extreme circumstances! let me know what everybody thinks!! i will mention this, i had some dude sniper me on a warriors item a few months ago, (which i haven't been able to find since, but my buddy FOX grabbed me one off of ebay uk, recently!! thanx, dude!!) and after that, i followed him around (his thing was spiderman) and sniperd him on three different auctions!!! and then sent him a message, "don't sniper me in my category, and i won't sniper you in yours!! lol

I vote to be cool to other members of this forum regarding stuff on eBay. I certainly will not snipe if someone I know is also going for the same item.

I agree---I haven't bought a lot of Warriors stuff on ebay (with some Swan pictures as the exception-LOL, right, SHM, that was the beginning of an interesting webfriendship!!!) but I have been on a Third Watch message board once where we shared our usernames on ebay and pacted NOT to bid against each other, first come, first serve.
We also said that IF someone really felt they needed some article-they should state that/why, and then we wouldn't be mad at them IF they would happen to bid against one of us, even by accident or not recognizing each other. There were several people we NEVER bid against, because when they got a new picture or what ever, they would always put it up on site so we all could see/share it too.

that exact type of pact may not work here, but the thought pattern is the same.

The same thing happened to me with the blue face furie, I was finally able to get one on "but it now" instead, which kinda sucks 'cause I could of gotten it cheaper if I had won the bid. This guy, which I am guessing is not part of our forum or the same guy for that matter, had taken like three more blue faces on previous bids. I mean, if you already have one, give the rest of us a chance of getting one, geeez. I know is hard because after all, The Warriors stuff is ultimate, but c'mon, we are all part of it.

Yeah that's cool.

SHM and myself have saved some big $'s by not bidding against each other. I think i was bidding against Ranchgirl for a magazine a few weeks ago until SHM told me that was you and i let it go.

In regards to the Blue fury i have the user name so please nobody outbid me as i've been snipered twice as the listings end when i'm in bed.

I bet that's dudes spider sense was going mad when you placed your bids on his stuff

I hope so Fox! but you know what? i just left ebay and he did it again, not to me, but to some other poor guy. He's been placing bids, this poor guy and then comes this other dude and has to ruin it for everybody. This is his 4th or 5th blue face Fury, damn, I wonder if he knows that there are other face colors in the collection. These are the Furies man, not the Smurfs! what the smurf is wrong with this guy? nice!!!!!! 8) 8)
kool enough guys!!!! my i.d. is "soldierthemiddle" the only thing's i'm bidding on now, are a single "cochise", and a single "fury leader", action figures. and i know ranchgal is on the single "swan" (ahh, that's funny, i didn't notice that till i read it!!) YOU WISH!! LOL anyway, i don't mind being outbid, i do not like being snipered!!! (ebay call's it being "sniped", i think "sniper" or "snipered", just sound's kooler!! what the hell is a "snipe"???) if there's something i'm bidding on, and it's something ya really need for your collection, let me know!! i'll wait for the next one, and vice versa!! me, and the fox, and ranchgal, have been doing this for quite some time now, and it's worked out pretty well! we have never had any conflict!! :D :D and like the fox said, probably saved a butt-load of cash, by not bidding against each other! not to say that there aren't gonna be time's when we're not gonna wanna back off of certain thing's, but if we at least have a "basic" courtesy, it would just be a nicer atmosphere. i'm in a yahoo group for old vintage "marx" "johnny west, and the best of the west" action figure's, (anybody here remember those? the coolest!!! cowboy and indian action figures from the 60's, and 70's they came with a million accessories, historicly accurate! the indian's came with every thing an indian would have!! they are awesome!! http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-MARX-JOHNNY ... dZViewItem
but what they do there is, in the profile section you can "choose" to list you ebay id, as well as your other info! so you know if you're bidding against another member. it helps a lot!! ;)
