I know a few of u have posted about cheap places to stay etc but im going over next summer and was looking 4 an area which would be pretty central to everything.Obviously coney will be the 1st priority,I heard you can take the boat trip round but thats about all I know! Any ideas???
Now look at what you find here in the big city!!!

you dont need to stay close to coney...

stay in a hostel/cheap hotel in manhattan. i dont know names of anywhere tho.

you can simply get the subway to coney from antwhere in manhattan. the subways go from the bronx through manhattan to brooklyn. up and down.

getting to coney is no probs.

Yeah it only takes about an hour from Times Square on the train.

It's great counting down the stops

i can remember one trip that my two friends and i made, this was in the early 80's though. we ended up locking our bags in the train station locker and sleeping in CP because our 'hosts' put us out of their apt. that was a pretty cheap vacation. we only paid for eats and subway fare.... ;)
