The Wizard of Oz?

Post by emissary »

Here goes: Dorothy leaves home and then wants desperately to get back there. Along the way there are unusual groups that she encounters, and in some cases, fights. Travel is done mostly along a straight line. There is a "magical" figure who turns out to be a lot of fancy talk. The whole way back, there is a nasty, cackily, antagonist causing trouble. At the end, there is a big goodbye.

Good comparison, though I would like the Oz characters to look like these: http://www.spawn.com/features/monsters2/

Or like this http://www.ozf5.com

I've always thought of Warriors as a Homer s Odissey kind of movie. On the book, Ulisses is trying to go home after the war in Troy, his leader, Aquiles is dead... on the way home he and his soldiers upset one of the gods, Poseydon, who reminds me of Masay a little bit, and makes them bounce from island to island (enemy territory) ,fight their way outta there and deal with themselves on difficult situations... there are even some mermaids (lizzies, cop on the bench) as baits to cause trouble among the men. And like a dj we all know... Athena, a goddess who has, and shares all kinds of information plays a big part on the story. :D
Btw, does anybody know who discovered the Oz/dark side conection?

Meaningless trivia: Name 4 things that Professor Marvel can do.(past, present, future reading count as one)
