We took my dog to the vet...and it was indeed an emergencey. His lungs were the main problem...one lung was completely crushed from liquids and the other was only 20% working. We love this dog so much....my father who is a tough son of a bitch just heard the news from my mother over the phone and he started crying....because it was his little boy. Me and my mom cried....we had to make the decision to either take him home with medicine but there was an extremely slim chance that he was going to live. He was dying and it was sealed. One of the hardest things I have ever done in my life was to sign the Eunthsia (that spelled right?) form....it was so hard. Good night...Jimmy....we love you and always will love you....

I am sorry to hear that, I ounce had a cat that I grew up with.  To me there seemed like a special bond, as if this pet could be human. So I understand you, there that uniqueness to that bond.  At least you will always remember the god times.

man its way hard when a pet dies or has to be put to sleep,my childhood dog had to be put down at the vets and i was heartbroken for ages after i feel ya pain!!and that was over 15 years ago!

I still miss him. 

Oh... I remember when i was about 10 years old i had to put my dog to sleep tp, he was suffering and was having cuncusions in the house, so it was probably the best thing to do. Hang in there Swan23.

Know what's funny? I was crying so hard yesterday when I held him for one last time, but no I feel fine, but I still miss him like crazy.
