how do you put vids in ipod

i just ggot an ipod video and i was wondering, how do you put videos in your ipod? i have vids from limewire and dont know haw to put them in. please help.
Well im not sure what format they have to be in but I think most probs .mp4 so download a video converter. May I suggest one from www.imtoo.com there real good. Pm me if you want my installation code as I have no need for it anymore ;) .
