The Bloop!

Post by Cowboy Is Cool »

Has anybody ever heard of the infamous "bloop", from 1997? It's really quite fascinating.

This is what it is, according to Wikipedia:

The Bloop is the name given to an ultra-low frequency underwater sound detected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration several times during the summer of 1997. The source of the sound remains unknown.

Here is the entire article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloop

Some people say it's a gigantic underwater monster.

I don't know what to believe.

I think i read somewhere that we have explored about 4% of the waters of the world. And scientists reacently found huge scratch marks on a blue whale, who could have impossibly been made by a shark.
So...who knows?  :|

Well, there's a monster in ancient mythology called Cthulhu. This is him:

Now, according to legend, Cthulhu is lying asleep in an underwater city. And ya know where the Bloop was heard? Right where the city is supposed to be!

I don't really believe in Cthulhu, but that would be badass if he really existed!

Well either those ancient dudes picked up the same sound somehow, and made up a story. OR it could be true. Wich i dont really belive either, but as i said, who knows?

Deep unexplored waters is kind of scary since we dont have a clue what is living down there.
