TA!!
TAK!

I called Eric today

Since we've only had cell phones for thirty years now, they still don't have it working right, so I could barely hear what he was saying

BUT

I think i heard some of these phrases:
  1. I'm at the beach
  2. I just woke up
  3. You are from London
  4. You will meet the producer
  5. I much fear trouble in the fuselage, Frederick
Any of that mean anything?

There'll be neither alternating, nor direct, current for me - I'm not getting in until Thursday early afternoon...

Screening @ MASTER THEATER on Thursday is cancelled. Hoping the rest does not. One of the ORPHANS has been added.

Ok so the following has happened since the 1st announcement of the event.

1: Both Larry Gordan and Walter Hill cancel.
2: Change in venue to an MC's clubhouse. (The 1st venue was supposed to be ideal for the reunion)
3: James Remar cancels. (Guess he will make more at CHILLER)
4: Venue changes again to Coney Art Walls. (I foresee the same issues as last year which the 1st venue was supposed to alleviate. Long lines. Large un-used spaces etc)
5: One of the events of the 4 days the AMAZING (as the promoter put it) EVENING WITH THE WARRIORS is cancelled because they wanted him to pay for the event.

I know a lot of things come up but I go to a bunch of different CONS in the NY/NJ area and I have never experienced anything like this or any of the antics that the promoter has taken to FACEBOOK to post (yelling at people to buy tickets calling specific people out). He knew the chances he was taking and has to live with them. I have this feeling in my gut that after a low turnout on Friday he will either: cancel the reunion altogether, cancel Sunday and just make it Saturday (making it a mob scene again) or list other people who have to cancel. I was going to set up a booth and sell a specific item but could foresee working with the promoter would be a headache. I hope that nothing else changes. Especially for all the people from out of town.

And not forgetting Bobbie Mannix having to cancel. At least Cochese will be safe at the con, now he doesn't have to explain he stole her identity ;)

Just wondering who everyone (that is going) is looking forward to seeing. My list is:

Tom Mckittrick (COWBOY)
Craig Baxley Sr (Stunt Coor.)
Lisa Maurer (LIZZIE HEAD)
Joel Weiss (CROPSY)
Guy Stevens (RIFFS)
Andy Engel (ORPHANS)

So just on autographs I am looking at at least $120-$140 (depending on what each charge). I want to see what Guy and Andy charge as they are in the film for two minutes and say nothing (Well Guy does do the RIFFS chant).

I am hoping there is more/better mercy this year than last. Couple of days and I can finally get COWBOY's signature. After James Remar and David Kelly that is my Holy Grail of WARRIORS sigs. I will then have all the main players (except Lynne and Marcelino who have passed)

Unless he's changed his mind last minute. Craig Baxley Snr isn't going ... that has come direct from Craig.

Not that we're pals in any way as we've never met (although I hope to meet him at some point) but I have been in contact and he told me is unable to attend.
