Make sure the image you wish to upload is on your computer, then go to an image hosting website such as Imageshack or Photobucket and upload the image on there. Once you've uploaded the image, take the direct link from it (which will be highlighted on the page) and insert the image between two "img" tags, as seen in the code below. For example, this:

Will become this when you remove the "code" tags.
