Post Limits

I have an idea. I think that instead of overposting and then getting banned, there should be a post limit per week. Like 35-40, and once you have posted that much you cant post anymore until the next week. Also it should allowed with this system that people can post all their post all on one day. Because some people might not be allowed on the net all the time but want to post a lot or dont have regular access to the site but love it. But in saying that the rules about too short or non-relevant post should still apply, i just think that this would make things easier for a lot of people. Thanks for keeping the site going, i love it.

I dont think 5 posts is so bad. It encourages people to post better. It would be a pretty crowded site if you had 35-40 posts from each member every week. I think the system we have now is pretty fine.

yep the system we have now is perfect

there are some people who use their computer way too much and it would be unfair for everyone so make your posts count and try to do 5 every day

One idea I had was a probationary period for violators.  During which they would be restricted to one post per day.  If they respected the sentence for a week or so, they could get their priviledges back.

Nice idea but it would be impossible to set up or enforce. You need to understand the limits of the forum software. There is set to be a big update to the software any time in the next few months so I am keeping an eye out for that!  8)

That's cool.  Sometimes I share these ideas and hope they'll just be noted for someday.  I'm never gonna have my own forum so when I think of something, I share it and forget it.  You have it all together.  8)

No I dont think that rule would work out at all becuase then poeple will just care about getting there rank up and will post  35-40 crappy postes  in a day then not come on the forum to next week and post crap again then it will continue so they can get there rank up and they will probley do just to get to being a warrior

A higher post limit, will incease the number of 1-5 word posts, which will increase SPAMMING. STOP SPAMMING!!
