I used to write articles for a site that turn in a pay site then after a couple years reverted back. It just didn't work since it didn't draw any new blood. and this was a site that reviewed combat-oriented games and had articles about real world combat.
The forum stayed free anyhow. Access to articles was for paying subscribers.
All we need is some budding writers to write some stuff about The Warriors. Someone suggested something along the lines of "The Ultimate Movie Guide". Maybe we could all write it and try to get it published ambition
That makes me think about our conclave in 2009. I bet we could get a lot of people to go. Vegas would be ideal. The TREK conventions there draw people from all over the place. Of course, I'll take the underground all the way to Victoria if necessary. But if it is going to happen, I think it has to start here.

Good Point. Coney would be the best place. I can't believe I said Vegas. I had just been there and a lot of different groups had cool stuff there. But Coney is the right place.

ya or the bronx, we can run around all day. by the way the fee does sound very good but my parents would never pay and i dont have pay pal or anything and im really bad with comps. i wanna help but i have nothing to offer exept my half ass posts
Couldn't we perhaps try banners first before we consider charging for the site? MOney is tight as it is and my dad wouldn't allow me to pay for a site. I mean, my dad (and me as well actually) wouldn't want to deal with money on the internet, nothing personal it's just a security issue.
I don't think I'll be charging for the site. It would create too many headaches!! I think if people truly like the site then they can donate. I may introduce a few unobtrusive revenue streams (new store, better donation scheme ...)
