The Warriors Movie Site Forum

I've been considering a forum usage charge. Nothing huge, but enough to keep the site ticking over. Maybe £1 a month? What I might end up doing is having a couple of free forums (maybe the movie one), but loads which aren't (off-topic, etc.) This will also sort the fans from the non-fans. Paying people may also get the benefit of better quality downloads and maybe exclusive access to some files. Let me know what you think and I've not decided anything yet.

I think this is a great idea and long overdue!!! Seperate the real fans from the casual ones. And it will certainly cut down on crap posters...no names of course!

i as a webmaster myself think that if you need to go that way its not a bad idea. however i myself would never pay for any forum. just somthin i cant bring myself to do.

donations are hard beacuse well, some people just dont....i think you will see a loss of members over time even tho a year subscription is only $12

i can't believe you just said that!!! so you'll leave and quit bein a part of this forum, and all your friend's, over a damn dollar a month? and a principle?
i know to you it's a matter of principle, but what about w.c.?? how much cash has he put out of his own pocket, to make sure we all have a place to go, where we are comfortable, and can discuss our favorite topic's, with our good friend's?

this is the best forum, or message board, i have ever seen!!!! not just because of the subject, (the warriors) but, because of the way it's set-up!!!
i got friend's, and family, who aren't into the warriors, but i've shown the site 2, anyway, and they can't believe what a well structered, and efficient forum, and message board this is here!!!
most forum's, and mess boards, have one category, in one long straight line of post's, or maybe, you can sign a "guest book" WHOOHOO!!
but, whatever man!

i think you took what i said wrong, it isnt just this forum, its any forum. its not over the dollar at all. and i understand W.C.'s struggle with the server and delivering the best he can, i also have alot of problems like this where my site has so many mp3 downloaded and so much bandwith. as far as your repost of a old comment, you dont know me like that to judge me like that. it was out of line for me. if i cant offer what is on my mind ona subject then it should not be asked.

as far as W.C. i still think the donation way is better. you could do the same thing with people who donate, even do it in levels like they do when you call a telathon. i also think i have a few ideas on how to get $ for the site. some ways i have done also. contact me if you wanna speak about it maybe i can give you a hand.

how much time do we all spend, here? i don't know about the rest of you, but 90% of my internet time, is spent here! (i know, i know! get a life, right!!??) LOL
and principle's, or not, it's worth a small fee, to me, and i think most of us here!! to keep everything on the square! not just for us, but the whole internt public!!! for every 10 wadds, that get on here and waste our time, there's that 1 or 2 new guys, that make this place great, again!!

it just came to me like it was a matter of being real or fake, from teh past iv seen when you were younger youw ere alot like me. so you understand that in anycase if somone is saying your fake. anywhere even on the net.. your gonan stan dup for sumthin. but i see its not the case.....who knows maybe when the time come sif it does....ill pay the $12 for the year......i think u just had alot to do with that, you are right...its more then a forum....i still think a a $1 a month pr whatever that comes out to in the U.K. a month $2 whatever is a bad way to go with it. but we will see when the time comes
