all moderators and people with over 300 posts or so what were you like when you were a new blood?were you as stupid as some of the newbloods today? or were you just like you are today?

when i was a new blood, i posted more than i shouldve, but after a single warning from jamie...i began to see the big picture.
my posts got longer, i changed my username, i only posted when i had stuff to say, by the time i was past 100 posts i had become a fairly respected member.
i suppose thats it, but all newbies keep in mind:

I've stayed pretty much the same as when I started. Always kinda been the guy in the corner in a way.

no cant say i was like the new bloods of today

i posted 2 much once...only over a lil, had a lil attitude(somthings never change) bumped heads a few times

but none of the crazyness that alot of new bloods do today

its just insane

Well when I first joined, it was around when this forum started using the simple machine software. I was looking at the forums for about a month before I signed up, I dont know why.
Anyhoo, I tried to make intelligent posts and I tryed to stick to the five posts a day limit, although one day I got a friendly pm from Jamie telling me to stick to the 5 posts a day limit (my first pm!) I kept posting and around 40 posts or so I got -karma so I was at -1, that broke my spirits alot but I kept posting, made friends with alot of members, got a sig from Kartoon, joined the goodfellaz now here I am!

I didn't say that much when I first joined, I was a little intimidated since it was the first forum I joined.  I have to thank Tantive for sending me some nice PM's and coaxing me out more. 

Posted the same from the start.  It was nice before the gamers came but the forum survived.  But like Toon said too many repeat posts as newbloods don't search.

I actually don't think I was too bad when I first got here. I joined after the game was released and had already played the game but I never compared anything to the game because that's just senseless in my opinion. I personally think I was a good New Blood, but maybe others will think different.

When i was a new blood i posted small with few words. Now since i got a littel more confident and made NUCH more smarter post. You can say i changed thank to the post

i had a bit of a bad start... i overposted in my first 2 days here and got my first and last bann..
but i was very kean then to stick to the rules and decided to warn all the newer new bloods about overposting and searching etc...
i joined the forum after the game was released which i feel very concious about because i get the impression alot of the members may think i am a "game head" (which i am far from)

as i decided to start adding people on msn when i was a noob so i could get on the right side of the other members ... so thats what i was like lol.

i was a new blood not too long ago, so i may be able to recollect something, unless you write extremely exceptional posts from the start (ive seen it done), my posts were quite average, occasionaly i would come up with the odd topic which still run right now, i took heed of the warnings i saw in the movie forum (not directed at me) from people who were extremely annoyed at new bloods asking something along the lines of "shouldnt vermin be warchief cos he was second to join". I dont know, other than the odd violent comment (normally meant as a joke) i think i was alrite... ach i dont know you cant really comment on yourself, its too difficult (for me it is too hard to think of a word to describe my brilliance...er.... non-brilliance, is that a word)

I came in a true fan.  I had never known anybody with knowledge of this movie comparable to my own.  But I found that here.  I disagreed with some of the guys/"gals" 8) on certain points.  I've definitley evolved as a fan and have more respect for every character.  There are a few issues that will never be completely settled because that's part of the magic. 

Well I respected everyone, I would type one sentece expressions, I slowly stared some new topics, Gonz, The Green Meanie and SHM gave me hell (in a funny/fun way) just cause I misspelled Vermin's name, that was my initiation.....then I climed up and well, I've earn the respect from the older members. My advice is: If you want respect, well don't be a moron and respect those around you!

i came in here kind of quiet, then started clowning some folks(in a good natured way), and apparently i gave all the right people a hard time.  :p   

this is probably the mellowest non-arguementive board i frequent and i hope it stays that way.  you youngbloods better stick close if you don't want to get racked.       

I was annoying, stupid, I disrespected most of the Warriors, I never used search, almost always made spelling mistakes, talked about the game alot. Pretty much like all of the newbloods of today. :badgrin:
