If you truly want everyone to search before posting, you might want to get rid of a message that pops up. I recently posted in an old thread, and was told the thread hadn't been posted in for more than 120 days, so I may want to consider starting a new thread instead of replying to that one.

It kind of sends a mixed message when you tell us to search before posting (which I had to do to reply to that thread).

That's a good point.

I think the rule is - search first and only comment in old topics unless you have something worthwhile to add. I don't mind old topics being bumped, but not if someone writes "yeah .... I agree" or something pointless.
