ok....me and WC added the new shout box (well really WC added it, i just inspired him to do so 8) )

but anyway...here are some things you should know about it

1. Its on a trial only base, so if it goes bad...its gone

2.the shout box has rules just like the forum

3.if you break these rules you will be banned just like in the forum

4.we cant watch it all the time, so...if we get to many reports about it. we will make are life easy and just delete the whole thing.


for now untill we come up with rules just for the shout box...use these ones to get you by



1. NO SWEARING.
(i) Do not swear unless quoting from a movie.
(ii) Placing symbols in swear words (e.g. *) still counts as swearing.

2. NO HOSTILITY.
(i) Rudeness, insults and personal attacks will not be tolerated.
(ii) Racism or religious hatred and any other type of discrimination will not be tolerated.
(iii) Do not insult new members, moderators will deal with them as appropriate.

3. NO INAPPROPRIATE / ILLEGAL DISCUSSIONS.
(i) Discussion of illegal activities (e.g. piracy), real life gangs and weapons is prohibited.

4. NO NEGATIVITY.
(i) Only make constructive comments as negative comments will be deleted.

5. NO SPAMMING.
(i) Links to unrelated sites should be posted in the off topic forum.
(ii) Inappropriate posting anywhere in the forum is not allowed.

6. NO TRADING.
(i) Please do not trade items on the site. Posting links to your items on eBay is encouraged.


any reports of breaking these 6 rules will result in a warnings,bans and a possible drop of the shout box

i noticed fighting this morning in the shout box


i was going to ban all of you guys for life and just end the madness

but i decided that i would say that

if i see this kind of stuff again in the shotbox, ill close it down...and ban the people fighting for ever weather its your first infraction or not

treat the stuff here goood...or dont use it

Back to the whole "1-5 word posts" thing. Some heavy bans are going to be handed out. I can smell it in the air 8).

Talking about banning people, (so hope its ok to say this here)when you ban someone you dont let them know why they have been banned and for how long, well i didnt get told anyway. So how about emailing someone when they get banned..just an idea.

oh ok well it didnt for me just said that there was an error because i was banned, might come up for other users tho.

Yeah, I wasn't informed the reason as to why I was banned for 5 days.  ::)

if you were told, then you were, if you were not...then you better figure it out and not do it again


life is simple, read the rules...follow them...

there are people on this forum, who have never been banned...never even been warned or been brought up for a ban....

and even more, i dont like some of them..so it CANT be that there the "mods pets"

Kartoon you say we better figure it out, but as far as i am aware i was following the rules, didnt post more than 5 posts aday, no swearing, didnt talk about anything illegal, didnt post anything that would offend anyone etc etc. Just saying that it would be nice, you didnt have to go all defensive.

Hey calm down, take the defensive barriers down its christmas..nothing ment by it, just expected the people who r there to help to help thats all. Dont take it to heart.
