Ajax: 20 years later

Post by Cowboy Is Cool »

This is a strange crossover story I decided to do between Ajax and Jack Dupree, from Smokin' Aces (he's the guy in my avatar).

Anyways, hope you all like it! Leave feedback!

CHAPTER 1: Ajax Meets Dupree

Awesome story, man! I could imagine it in my mind as a kick-ass film. Good work! You are, in my opinion, one of the best writers on this forum, no joke. You've got my vote =D>

CHAPTER 2: The Plan and Back Stories

They walked out in the parking lot, to Dupree's car. It was January 4th, freezing cold outside. Dupree was dressed warm, with a black hoodie and brown leather jacket over his shirt, not to mention his beret. Ajax only had a black jacket on over his tank top. Jack opened the driver's side door, turning back to Ajax. "Hop in." Ajax walked around the back of the car and climbed in the passenger seat. Once they were both in, Jack started the car and pulled out of the parking lot, driving up the street. "So, we're out to get a hitman. Infamous as hell. His name is Garcian Parkreiner. With age, his skills have started slipping. He failed on an assignment, crippled somebody instead of killing them. Unfortunately for Mr. Parkreiner, his target was the son of a f*cking senator. Ha!"

Ajax looked at him. "So, what do we do? Just go in and get him?" Dupree nodded. "Yeah, that's all. My guess is that the senator has something nasty in store for Parkreiner, but it doesn't matter to me." Ajax nodded. "I just wish we could f*ck him up. Teach that faggot a lesson." Jack laughed. "That really ain't our place, unless they want him dead or alive. I'd let you kill him if it we were allowed." Ajax smirked. "Yeah, but that's not the deal." Jack shrugged. "It's rare that you get one like that. They usually want them alive." Ajax looked out the window. "Ah, f*ck them." Jack looked over. "Hey, I don't care who you f*cking kill, but you're not gonna screw this job up on me, alright?"

Ajax glared at Jack. "If I want to, I'm gonna waste him." Jack glared back. "Fine, beat him up a bit. But don't kill him." Ajax crossed his arms. "Ah, f*ck." Jack just shook his head. They drove on in silence for a few minutes. Ajax seemed to be getting a bit antsy. "Where the hell are we going, anyways?" Jack nodded to the windshield, for no apparent reason. "To Parkreiner's mansion. I'm gonna show you what we're dealing with. We have to do this job tonight." Ajax nodded. "Good. I don't wanna wait." They drove for about five minutes, until they reached the Parkreiner mansion. Ajax looked out. "It's not as big as I thought it would be." Jack shook his head. "I know. You can barely even call it a mansion." They both got out of the car, looking at the mansion from the road.

Nobody could see them because of the trees surrounding the house. Jack pointed at it. "Now, we have to find a way in there. He has four bodyguards working for him at night, they go by the names Spike, Ace, Jason, and Tina. We may have to take them out, if necessary." They looked at each other. Jack smiled. "Yeah, you can take care of that." Ajax smiled and looked toward the house. "So, how the hell do we get in?" Jack motioned toward the car. "Let's go. I'll tell you in the car."

--------------------------------------------
"PIZZA GUYS?" Ajax yelled. "You f*cking kidding me?" Jack shook his head. "No. Every night, Parkreiner orders pizza from Dominoes.  I figure, we go in as the delivery guys. Kill whoever answers the door quietly and sneak in. Take them out one by one, grab Parkreiner, and get the hell out of there." Dupree said, tapping his fingers on the steering wheel. Ajax slumped in his seat. "Ah, fine. I don't have a gun. I'll use my hands." Dupree looked at him. "Your hands? You f*cking kidding me? You really think you can do that?" Ajax sat up straight. "F*ck you, I can! I was a Warrior, for 3 years! They were a gang, in Coney. I was their heaviest soldier." Dupree looked at him. "Heaviest?" "Toughest." Dupree nodded.

Jack looked over at Ajax, and then back to the road. "I was in a street gang as a kid, years ago. I was in the Wolverines, in Los Angeles. When I hit 18, I moved to Las Vegas and joined a local crime family. But eventually, the whole family was taken down, when I was around 29. So, I managed to get this gig, as a bail bondman. One of my old friends recommended it. And here I am." Ajax frowned. "I was arrested, for attacking a cop. I served time for 5 years. I f*cking hated it there. I got out, and my old gang was gone. Done. I had to leave my apartment, and my cousin called from Vegas. I asked if I could stay with him, so I did. Where the f*ck are we going, anyways?"

They pulled into the parking lot of Dominoes Pizza. Dupree stopped the car. "Here." He got out. "Come, Ajax. I have a contact here, we're gonna get the uniforms from him." Dupree walked around the building, to the kitchen entrance, as Ajax climbed out of the car. "A contact at Dominoes?" he asked himself under his breath, closing the door behind him and following Jack.

Hope you all like it! Leave feedback! :D

CHAPTER 3: The Uniforms and Preparations

Dupree knocked on the kitchen door three times. Within seconds, the door crashed open, and a short pudgy kid with greasy red hair walked out, carrying the uniforms in his hand. "Emilio, how's it going?" Dupree said, looking down at the kid. He was wearing a chef's uniform, and was probably no more than 5'4". "I'm okay, but it's a busy day here. Listen, my friend Johnny always delivers the pizzas to Parkreiner at night. I'm gonna tell him not to take them tonight. You guys, take these." He reached into the kitchen and came back out with two large pizza boxes. Dupree took the uniforms. He looked over at Ajax. "You can carry the boxes." Ajax took them, holding them with both hands.

Dupree knelt down, reaching into his jeans pocket. He pulled out a 20 dollar bill. "Here ya go, Emilio. Don't spend it all in one place!" he said, chuckling. He stood up, and Emilio nodded, running back into the kitchen and slamming the door closed. Ajax smacked Jack's shoulder. "Let's go, it's f*cking freezing out here." Dupree nodded, uniforms draped over his left arm. "Alright, let's head back to Mickey's. You can go back home and get everything you need ready. I'll do the same. We meet back at Mickey's at 9:00 tonight, alright?" Ajax nodded. "Let's just get the f*ck out of here first." Jack nodded, and they both walked back toward Dupree's car, climbing in and driving away.

--------------------------------------------------------
Ajax walked into the apartment, making sure not to wake Billy, who was asleep on the couch. Billy had done a massive favor, hooking him up with that Dupree guy for this job. He was gonna try not to be a dick to Bill for a while. Ajax took off his jacket and threw it on the floor, quietly walking into the kitchen, opening the fridge and grabbing a beer. He sat down at the table and opened it, taking a big swig. Damn. This job was gonna be easy. He just needed not to kill Parkreiner. He could kill the bodyguards though, and hey- that was good enough for one job. But still, if anybody f*cked with him, they were going down. No matter who they are.

He sat there in silence, in the dark, for several minutes, slowly drinking the beer. He missed the old days, with the Warriors. He hadn't heard from any of them for years now. Still, sh*t happens. It's the way the world works, and Ajax knew that better than anybody. When his parents were killed by members of the Hi-Hats, Ajax had not idea what to do. Thankfully, his childhood friend, Cleon, had started the Warriors. Ajax got his revenge on those makeup-wearing faggots a bunch of times as a Warrior. And now, everything was gonna be fine. He finished the beer and left it on the table, slowly walking to his bedroom, trying to be quiet in the dark. He got into his room and closed the door, turning on the light.

It was a sh*tty room, but hey, what could he do? It was just a mattress on the floor and some clothes lying around, and a couple of playboy pinups on the walls. Ajax leaned down and searched through a pile of his dirty clothes- ah, there. He pulled out his buck knife, a beautiful thing. He loved using his fists, but the knife was always good too. He stuffed the knife in the right pocket of his black jeans, making sure he had easy access to it if he needed it. It was gonna be one hell of a night.

-------------------------------------------------------
Jack Dupree walked into his apartment, nearly tripping over his dog. "Jesus, Spud! Watch where you're sleeping." The dog just kept sleeping. Jack flicked the light on, then took off his jacket and hoodie, laying them on the arm of his couch. He took off his sunglasses and beret and put them on top of his TV. He looked around his place. It was small, boring as hell. But whatever. It was comfortable and affordable. That's all he needed. He plopped himself down on the couch, grabbing the remote control and turning on the TV. The porn channel was on. "Great, just f*cking great!" Jack yelled, dropping the remote. Last night, his deadbeat friend had slept over. He must have paid for the X-rated channel and left it on the whole time! "Well, the cable bill's going to him." he said, changing the channel and turning off the TV.

Jack stood up and walked into his "office". Not really an office, just a room with a desk and all of his work-related stuff. He pulled out a desk drawer and grabbed his gun, closing the drawer. Ah, his gun. A Smith and Wesson Model 29 .44 revolver. He loved it. He made sure it was loaded and put it in his left pants pocket. He opened the other drawer and pulled out the picture of his girlfriend, Jamie. Man, what a beautiful girl. And only two more weeks until she would return from Japan! Man, Jack could hardly wait. He looked at his golden watch. Sh*t. One hour left. Well, might as well watch some TV. He hoped That 70's Show was on. What a great f*cking show.
