I really do admire a lot of Sonny Chibas old flicks, you know the ones that inspired Kill Bill. Such as Karate Bear Fighter, or Karate BullFighter etc. I truly respect his work.

Shaolin soccer was funny. I LMAO when that guy kicked that soccer ball and hit those guys like they were in a pinball machine. Its funny because they do impossible stuff.

Sharkskin Man and Peachhip Girl was AMAZING! I love that movie so much.
And another great one is Riki-Oh: Story of Ricky. The most violent and cheesy kung fu movie of all time. But it's still alot of fun for people who like that sort of thing.

I'm going to kill myself now, how could I have missed Riki-Oh. I wouldn't be surprised if they remade that movie.Cowboy Is Cool wrote: Sharkskin Man and Peachhip Girl was AMAZING! I love that movie so much.

Too bad the sequel fell through, but the animated series was amazing. Check it out on YouTube, if it's still available.
The gun battles at the end of SMaPG were epic, the guy just standing there taking bullets and knives left and right and even a sword. A really funny movie too.

Battle Royal, and Kung Fu Hustle are both excellent movies.
But my favourite is The Host its about a mutant thing accidently created by toxic waste. It takes a young girl away from her family and they all go looking for her. Its a realy good film, quite funny in parts. Very good story, the visual effects are also good. Anybody else seen this?

Yeah, I just saw the Host. Very cool movie. I thought it was funny when they all started crying for the daughter after the first monster attack, and they were all rolling around on the floor.the wigan warrior wrote: Battle Royal, and Kung Fu Hustle are both excellent movies.

And when the biohazard guy slips on the gym floor and stands up, all cool looking.

Yeah, the sword concealed inside the wooden bat was so cool. I hated the guy with the blonde hair and the white jumpsuit. He annoyed the hell out of me.CompanyScum wrote:I'm going to kill myself now, how could I have missed Riki-Oh. Very surprising too he would carry something like that, considering his mental state. Yeah that guy was a douche bag, very funny when they use him as cover. I liked the guy with the weird hooded costume.Cowboy Is Cool wrote:Yeah, the sword concealed inside the wooden bat was so cool. I hated the guy with the blonde hair and the white jumpsuit.
