I'd like to see somebody do a new version of the movie...i love the old movie,that won't change...i'd just like to see more.

i quite like what they did with some of the straight up remade movies like Hallowe'en and Hills have Eyes...if the right person remakes the movie it could be great

i'd actually like to see the remake. i mean, i guess it'd be bad, due to the fact that it's gonna take place in LA. But who knows, it might be good. (not that i know of)

how cool would a tv series be? with the development of other gangs in the movie... sort of like a csi gang unit series that takes place in the 70's. i'd even settle for a cartoon!

I know that there is already a thread about this (sorta) but on that thread, it was unconfirmed, now it is offical:

I just met David Harris at Monstermania in Cherry Hill N.J on 8/25. this weekend. One of the coolest guys you will ever meet. We rapped for like a half hour and I told him that The Warriors was a movie that has no business being remade. David agreed and told me that Walter Hill has refused to allow the movie to be remade. While Paramount is the studio that released it, Hill still owns the rights to the movie. He also told me that they were planning on doing another reunion in NYC bigapppleconvention.com keep checking for more info. Thought everybody would want to know, so now that hack Tony Scott can't butcher a classic.

yeah,just because the movie's getting a bit dated,doesn't mean he should
redo-it.just like psycho by hitchcock,i still love the classic version but then again,the remake would have sucked even if it whas the original.
