Well written comment Union_Jack. I have always dug Mod. I don't ride
around on a tricked-out Lambretta with a Parka and stuff, but as you
said there are just subtle elements of that original youth subculture that
are timeless and cool. It's more about style than fashion.
I love the scene towards the end where Jimmy comes out of the train's
bathroom with the purple suit and tie, with the mascera and the strung-out
stare. Those old guys are just like WTF is this? Also I love when "Reign O' Me"
starts up, and the Mods do that little circular manuever on their scooters
and then head out for the coast in formation. Little things, but I like that
stuff.
Ahem, Is this still a site about The Warriors? I think I might be guilty of
helping to take this thread way off course. But I enjoyed it none the less! :D

Tell me, since you all have the *cough* experience to tell me. Is it true dinosaurs are acutally easier to tip over than cows?

I've been looking around for a copy of Enemy Territory (can only find ntsc vhs). Its about a gang that rule a tower block and beat down any trespassers. Typical 80's straight to video trash but I wouldn't mind watching it again.

Re: old school "gang" flicks
I don't know if "Hey Good Lookin'" was mentioned. It's a Ralph Bakshi cartoon that takes place in the late 50's in New York, and there's gangs and stuff. It also possesses the f-words, nudity and downright weirdness that make it a Ralph Bakshi film. So, yeah, check that out if you can find it. I know it's in parts on YouTube, last time I checked.
