Just in case you ever get an email with the Ebay or paypal logos that ASKS you for anything, as in verification of email address, account information, anything like that--your account needs more ???? information type emails.
FIRST thing--go to ebay: MY Ebay Page, IF ebay really needs anything from you, they will list it in "MESSAGES" section of your page, IF there is no message that completely matches your suspicious email---EBAY DID NOT SEND IT TO YOU. they prefer to do all contacting within the site itself.
STEP TWO: DO NOT REPLY to the recieved email---instead forward it to
spoof@ebay.com
they will veryify and send you back notification if it did or did not come from ebay, and NOT to reply to anything that asks for any kind of information.
I just got one yesterday that asks for verification of my email account--and ebay said it was fraudulent. Just so you all can be aware. I thought you all should know. this stuff is the first step towards someone using your account without your permission.
(besides, in my experience, Ebay TELLS you things, they never ask for anything on the emails.) LOL

Thanks, Ranchgal. I got a fake PayPal e-mail a few weeks ago asking for verification. This looked very professional. I went to the PayPal site and of course " PayPal emails will address you by first name, last name, or business name, and NOT by Dear PayPal User or Dear PayPal Member. " Gotta be careful.
Thanks Ranchi

Hey Lions. Yes, that was great. A fitting exit for the good doctor. Went out like he lived...a rebel!
