An introduction

Post by Moonrunner »

I'm a huge Warriors fanatic, I have been ever since I saw the movie when I was a small child (Yeah, my dad let me watch this stuff ;D). I've always been a fan of the Moonrunners I love their style, their skill, and their soldier's names and how they always refer to the moon. I had never thought to join a Warriors forum until now but if I had years ago I can assure you I'd be the guy with 10,000 posts by now ;D

Well I shall be polite and give the guy a chance. Welcome to the forum. Given your fondness for the Moonrunners, I suggest you take a look at the Moonrunners jacket thread. It may be of interest to you.

I made a Moonrunners jacket of my own, it looks exactly like the movie one. I found a silver jacket much like it at the salvation army and put a patch on it. And yes, I referred to the game, I highly prefer the movie of course but why be ashamed of the fact that I like that the Moonrunners got some time in the game, in the movie I had only saw them a few times, getting on a train and at the big meeting, I was happy to see them finally get more of a background.

Though, I realize this IS the movie forum, I will refrain from mentioning the game.

No, you can talk about the game as much as you like.

Welcome New Blood.

I made a Moonrunners jacket of my own, it looks exactly like the movie one. I found a silver jacket much like it at the salvation army and put a patch on it.

Please post a pic. Too many times, NEW BLOODS say they have this and that, then never produce pics. The MOONRUNNERS jacket is a topic that has been "beaten to death" on these forums (see MOONRUNNERS jacket in the VESTS/PATCHES/OUTFITS section). Also, how did you get a one-off of the patch?

Alright, I'll get a picture as soon as I can. I lost my job this summer, had to move to Texas from Indiana for new opportunities, I currently have my computer on a cardboard box so buying a camera will have to wait a little bit.

As for the patch I had my friend who makes a lot of his own clothing to try to make one the best he could, it looks kind of bootleg but the jacket itself is spot on, right down to the white zipper. Too bad it's beginning to fall apart, it's been worn too much.

You've never worn any of your replica warriors attire? Should give it a go. I get a lot of wary looks from the members of public when I wear mine at work.

*some biker clubs might not be too pleased though
