I watched the American Dad episode yesterday. The DJ character is played by the principal and we can listen to Baseball Furies Chase song while the 4 nerds are trying to escape.

This list makes me wonder how many people get these references. Beauty Shop, for instance, is a film for women. I saw it with my friends (only women) and they had never heard about The Warriors. I explained why we could only see the DJ’s mouth but unfortunately they didn't show any enthusiasm or interest.

Rumor also has it that Tony Danza was going to be Swan, which, considering that a Warriors vest ends up on Taxi, is kinda fitting

Yeah, I think I could picture Danza playing Swan. He was on the husky side. I wonder if he woulda been able to run like that.

found that that episode was from 1982, so they recycled an old Warriors vest.

Tom Hanks as a Warrior.... hmmm.... hmmm....... NAH! One qualification, though, could be his running back and forth across the US in Forrest Gump.
