Ninth Delegate wrote:Have a look at the screengrabs thats on this thread as I'm after members opinions. Regarding the thin black line that goes from the neck and down the arm; is it on the right side only or is symetrically on both? Only the right side (viewers left) is clearly visible. It looks like it only goes as far as the arm band. I looked as close as I can at the pair of moonruners on the front row of the conclave. The one standing to the left of the screen looks not to have the line on his left arm but I can see the stars and stripes flag.

Just tried placing a waste paper bin (approx 12 inch width) on a jacket to see how much space it fills. Add on the extra space needed for the logo's arm and it may be too big a size. Thinking the circle of the design should be approx 10 inch.
I don't understand what you mean, do you mean the arm of the jacket or the logo?

With ALL the info in this thread, I think someone would be able to make a replica. Still being unemployed, I can't invest anything. I think we have enough info from 9th on the band. NC did a 95% accurate patch art and there are plenty of silver jackets to choose from. Come on SATANSMOTHER!! This was supposed to be his next item at the end of the summer. I know TRI is back and is "boys" with SM. Maybe he can give us an update. Or one of you wealthy members invest in like 5 of these. I am SURE they will sell.

Just took these 2 snapshots from the movie FOXES as recommended by Suburban Warlord
Image
These look like the same jackets to me, with the same yellow band on the arm. and looks like it's also got the American flag patch on the left arm.
Judging by this image i think you were right NINTH about the black stripe just going down the right arm.

I did have 2 pics but when i try to upload the second it says "you are forbidden from editing this document" then won't let me back on here for about half hour?!?!?

Interesting indeed. And only the black line visible on the right hand side arm. Has the stars and stripes flag as well.

Would it be a safe assumption that the moonrunners jackets in the warriors wern't made specifically for the film; they just bought a few existing jackets from the store and added a patch on the back? Wonder what company made these?

Thats my guess, what is the logo on the front, 2 chequered flags? If The Warriors was made by Paramount and Foxes by MGM, would they share wardrobe departments?

Thats the corvette racing team patch on the front (the right hand flag is chequered).
That's one step closer on getting an accurate replica.

So this jacket was made to mark the 1978 silver anniversary of corvette. That narrows the search down.
