What I do not get is why you would make this instead of a screen accurate vest? You do not see STAR WARS replica makers making their items off of preliminary prototypes. Fans want SCREEN ACCURATE!!! They are supposedly auctioning her vest from the film. Wonder if it will be this "prototype" or a screen accurate (starting @ $20,000.00). If you have the designer, you have the means to make it why o why would you not make a screen accurate? You I would have rather them make an ELECTRIC ELIMINATORS jacket than a vest they had "hoped" to make. Also if screen accurate was cheaper, make that and make the cost less and sell more (I am assuming it would be cheaper today as well).

Wow! Not what I expected. Is it me or is the color of the vest completely wrong? Have we gotten incorrect this whole time? The warbird looks like it is missing stitching.

I think we'd all have preferred exact replicas - I'd go even further and say I'd rather they were pleather (or Naugahyde, as we called it in the 70s!), for that extra smooth "drape"
