Here is a still picture of the "British guy" (wearing a Union Jack flag t-shirt) and seen very briefly at the conclave about 12 minutes into the movie - see him on the right - sadly he is only ever at the edge of frame.

Maybe he could become the `symbol' for British fans?

I remember that t-shirt design in 1979 but didn't know they were being sold in the US.

I think you've cropped the picture without realising, as I don't see the guy in the union jack t-shirt. There is a clear shot of him in the movie, which is what lead to him getting a role in the Rockstar game.

Also, because "punk" was very big in the late 70s early 80s, and punk is heavily associated with British street life, Union Jack (and related) clothing was all the rage, and very available all over the Village, especially at places like Trash & Vaudeville
