I've played CB's several times too and we had to have a guy at the door counting all the people coming in to see our band as the staff would undercount them otherwise and rip you off money-wise. They had a good PA though. Man, I'm starting to miss NYC reading these posts! Especially my apt. which is on 100th st. "The Furies chase block..."

Hey Tantive!

Unfortunately we recently moved to Cali. and I don't know any musicians out here yet. If we come back to NYC, I'll definitely let everyone know. Party on The Furies block! My window is in the flick!
But if you DO wanna see a kickass band in NYC, my friend Sully is the singer and gtr. player for The Creamsicles who gig all the time. Check out their site,

Tell 'em Dave Mack sent u!!!

Also I would reccomend any newbies to the Warriors town to take a tour with a native like Tantive! And do the subway!

Peace!http://www.creamsicle-music.com/

I hear that. Once when we played, our door-counter guy never showed up, and we know those bastards ripped us off big-time. NYC is a much better place without that scummy hole. They don't even get a walk-in corwd there anymore, except for tourists that wanna go in and see it, and go home with tales of how it sucked and how everyone who worked there sucked. Only bad thing, I guess the gentrification continues.
Big Cyrus. He was gonna run the whole city...what crap that was.
