Is it completeley free roaming?

Post by b-furie »

Ever since i heard about this game i have always wondered if it is completley free roaming or not, now that it has been realeased in America im itching to find out if it is completley free raoming or not, so can someone please tell me if it's free raoming or not?

if your confused about what im saying then here's what i mean by completley free roaming:

you can run around the turfs without having to do missions well that and can you achually walk into the train station to get to the other turfs?

well thats basically what i hope it is but can someone please tell me what the free roaming is like on it, if there is

Thank you

No, you are basically fenced in to a certain area for any given portion of the game. You can move about that area as much as you want, but there are barricades and fences preventing you from going wherever you want.

I am not very far in the game, so maybe it gets more "free-roaming" as you progress.

Between missions, you go back to your hideout in Coney. This portion is a little more "free-roaming" -- you can do side-missions and what not. When you go to other territories, it's almost strictly business, which is to say you're on a mission with objectives, though there's usually optional side-objectives to complete. These areas are really big, though, and you can just mug people, loot stores and cars, and get in trouble with the cops (which is really fun) if you want. You can return to these "missions" after you've completed them, so if you want to just beat up some orphans again for fun, you can.
