nobody has yet to even come remotely close as to explaining to me why this is fair. if we can discuss this matter, rather than coming on here just to attack me because of me posting my thoughts like The Fox, who thinks he's really something special......that would be appreciated.
the fact that nobody can even give me a good straight answer about this new setup shows how crappy it is. if your gonna run an apartheid here war chief, and its your site, you do what you want with it.....at least have the common curtousey to tell us that straight up.

You aren't entitled to respect--you earn it. newbies are respected for what they actually do during participation on the board, not just because they show up here and announce who they are.

lol, i like this guy. Tantive, thank you for at least posting your thoughts respectively and 'lightening' up the mood. there's too much i like about the movie to post right now. but mainly i came on the boards to talk about the subtle meanings of the movie, which intrigues me the most.........as evident in my first post in which i thought was a really good thread called 'The Meaning.'
my intention wasn't to make any enemies, but im not going to be bullied by anyone.
so than going by what ranchgal said, rather than having friendly general respect for other posters, we have to treat the new comers like dogs until they earn their respect? in the 'lesser' forum? that's what i don't like. i dont like there being a line drawn between two groups. it's not fair to new comers.

OK, I'm here.
First off I have to say that there are not really any other problems on the forum, apart from this. So on the whole, the new rules are working okay. Just post in the movie chat forum about whatever Warriors topics you enjoy. It couldn't be simpler than that really.
With respect to The Fox being special, damn right. He's been a huge help along with Gonzo in moderating the forum and helping out members when there have been trouble.
We are not treating the newcomers like dogs at all. There is a separate forum for newcomers to be welcomed in to the group, and a place where they can get used to the rules. There is no hostility and there's nothing to prove. If you go into a chat room, there is often a newbies section there. It's just a great place to meet new people and chat about new topics. It keeps discussions fresh rather than reopening old threads from a year ago.
