all the errors in the warriors a must look at

Post by zach »

Errors in geography: Supposedly in the Bronx, the gang boards a Chambers Street - Metropolitan Avenue train, which would not go to the Bronx.

Continuity: When the lead Punk gets red paint sprayed in his face, he turns away from the spray and gets very little on his face. In all later scenes, his entire face is covered with the red paint, especially around his eyes.

Continuity: When the Warriors first leave the gunfight in the Bronx, we see them walking in the rain, completely soaked. A short while later, they're back on the train with dry hair and clothes.

Continuity: When walking, the girl is wearing high-heel sandals. However when she is running with the Warriors as they are chased by the cops in the subway station, she is wearing "practical" shoes.

Continuity: When walking, the girl who joins the Warriors is wearing high-heel sandals. However when she is running with the Warriors as they are chased by the cops in the subway station, she is wearing "practical" shoes.

Continuity: The position of the park bench after the police put Ajax in the car.

Continuity: A Cut disappears and re-appears in subsequent shots under the eye of the Orphan Leader when Swan and Vermin are talking to him.

Audio/visual unsynchronized: After Swan refuses to remove his colors, the head Orphan snaps his fingers to call his soldiers, but the snap is heard after it actually happens.

Continuity: Fox is rolled over twice by the policeman before being thrown onto the subway tracks.

Continuity: In the graveyard, Rembrandt is told by Swan to be look out, and Rembrandt climbs on a statue for a good view. Swan then listens to Ajax demanding to be Warlord, and behind him we see Rembrandt climbing the statue again.

Continuity: At the Lizzies' hangout, Cochise smiles while he watches Vermin and a girl make out on the couch. Rembrandt then comes to Cochise to ask him how long they are going to be there, and in the background you can see Vermin and the girl walking to the couch.

Crew or equipment visible: As the Warriors are running down the middle of the street towards the subway platform in order to catch the subway and escape from the Turnbull AC gang, the overhead view briefly shows camera lighting equipment and the film crew on the left side of the camera frame just prior to the Warriors reaching the street level entrance.

Crew or equipment visible: Before Luther (David Patrick Kelly) starts chanting, "Warriors, come out to play," you can hear the director say, "David... action," off-screen.

Crew or equipment visible: When the Baseball Furies are chasing the Warriors through the park, you can see cameramen on the side.

Crew or equipment visible: When they meet up at Union Square and go to look for Swan, as they're walking away, you can see a cameraman's foot sticking out from behind one of the pillars.

Errors in geography: The 96th Street entrance, where the warriors meet the Baseball Furies, is actually the 72nd and Broadway entrance. The Grey's Papaya visible in the scenes has been there for over 35 years

I'd also like to point out that it was Fox and Swan talking to the oprhans leader sully. Not Vermin and Swan.

There's also an error in your post... you said the same thing twice. So there, not everyone's perfect.

There are fanatics that watch flicks frame by frame and look for errors. Even big time production companies have lots of errors. One dude showed a bunch of stuff in the latest Star Wars flick. There was even a short show on TV with flubs from movies of the past. Interesting. At least some people have lots of time on their hands.

Very impressive list. More than half of that stuff, I would never ever notice.
Continuity: When the Warriors first leave the gunfight in the Bronx, we see them walking in the rain, completely soaked. A short while later, they're back on the train with dry hair and clothes.
Yeah, they made it rain because they wanted the lights from everything to reflect off the wetness on the street to make it look cool. But yeah it doesn't make sense how one second there soaked, and the next there completely dry.
