Hi guys,
This is my first post, please be nice! Great site, really glad I found it as none of my mates have ever watched The Warriors and have no interest i it, so it's cool to be able to talk about it with people who care about the film!
Everytime I watch the film and get to the end where Luther takes a shot at Swan, but gets knifed in the wrist, I can't help but think that he shots right in the middle of all the Warriors yet none of them get hit.
What do you think?
Sorry if this has been spoken about recently!

Actually, that's a good question, I've always thought that was a little fishy that Luther hit no one at point blank range. If you look at it, Cowboy is directly behind Swan. Even when Swan moves to his side a bit, it still appears as if the gun is pointed at him. It's one of those Warriors moments. Don't think too hard. You have to assume the bullet whizzed right by Swan's and Cowboy's heads.

Wasn't he holding the gun one-handed? And he probably saw the split-second that Swan moved that he was going to attack. Not being the bravest of people, he probably flinched, which made the gun miss, added to the fact that a gun if not held properly or firm enough can miss terribly (one-handed).

He was firing it double action mode too- not manually cocking the hammer for a light trigger pull. So a small flinch can throw off aim. Sure happens to me at the firing range.
