Hum,Only if he is a fan of the film,
Keep in mind guys at this point,they are already messing up the film by shooting it in L.A. And using Disney Land or Six Flags as Coney??
And using some classicly trained actors as Gang members,
Ah Yes,it's a train-wreak waiting to happen!!!

the rock would be a good choice for cyrus but yes he is too big of a star
i agree on an earlier note that christian slater would be good to play vermin
dont ask why but for some reason i can envision eddie murphy playing cleon

I seems the 2006 Warriors is just a cash in of the name only. Baa! As for actors, there's a bunch of real Latino and black ex-gang members that do parts in all sorts of TV regularly- and they are good!

L.A. just isn't laid out like NYC and it's gonna have to be a stretch to see anything familiar. While there are gangs they aren't wall to wall in every city surrounding L.A. like the burroughs of NYC. And NOBODY rides the cheezy blue line trains except poor folks. Gang bangers drive here. 8)

The Rock would be a TERRIBLE choice for cleon, he's too big and he doesn't have the right voice. Short and simply he's a very bad choice.

if they are going to do a remake and try to make it good at least cast nobodys again thats what makes a good movie and thats how you find som real actors
