Awesome 80's Movies

Post by Marlboroprojects »

The Rogue had a good thread on great movies from the 70's, so I thought I'd start one for 80's movies. Here are some of my favorites.

Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi
The Karate Kid
Fast Times At Ridgemont High
Rocky III
The Terminator
An American Werewolf In London
Friday The 13th
The Blue Lagoon
Flashdance
Ghandi
Porky's
Bladerunner
Platoon
Beverly Hills Cop
Back To The Future
The Untouchables
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
The Lost Boys
Raiders Of The Lost Ark
The Breakfast Club
Top Gun
Rain Man
A Nightmare On Elm Street
Child's Play
48 Hours
Trading Places
Scarface

Add some of yours or discuss some of mine. 8)

Didn't The Blues Brothers come out in '79?

Airplane - one of the funniest movies ever.

"Captain, you've got an emergency call on line 5 from a Mr. Ham."
"Alright, give me Ham on 5 and hold the Mayo."

"Surely, you can't be serious."
"I am serious. And please don't call me Shirley."

"We've got to get these people to a hospital right away."
"A Hospital!!?? What is it?"
"It's a big building with patients in it, but thats not important right now."

"Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit poppin' amphetamines."

"Do you like movies with gladiators in them?"

Gonz......Halloween 3? come on man I don't even count that as a Halloween movie. Eddie Murphy's stand up comedies (Raw and Delirious) and Heathers or was that an early 90's?

Well that entry was tongue in cheek which is why I phrased it that way. It is very cheesy...but fun cheese!
