Barr (Irn-Bru owners) released a statement a few years ago.... it does infact contain traces of alchohol itself... 0.01% or something...

Brodka used to be my friend... until too many of them attacked my mouth last thursday... i blacked out... was weird... but tasty ;)

Yeah of course man!
I'm half Scotsman so when ever I go to visit the folks up there it's only right to drink the good stuff...it's enjoyable but heck the E numbers and sugar beats coke!

You can get this stuff in Canada too, but it's different than the stuff in the UK because Canada has laws about caffienated beverages saying only dark coloured drinks can have caffiene in them. I tried it once, didn't like it too much, mostly because it absolutely killed my teeth. I don't enjoy physical pain when drinking stuff.
