Of course he didn't do it as that would be illegal activity and the post would have to be deleted.  :)

All part of being an artist Si-Lee, you have to be able to let go of your work, especially if you have rent to pay!  And I have to say DEEM that's a nice piece. Does that signature on it mean you have your own crew?  That's pretty awesome too.  Do you do canvas work to sell?  Or anything else?  Cause looking at that you're a pretty talented guy.

If you are into graffiti like me you should check out the book "Graffiti World: Street Art From Five Continents."  My wife got it for me for Christmas.  It is an excellent coffee-table type book with big pictures and bios of many of the recognized artists working today.

I've been buying the magazine Beautiful/Decay that has some great shots of pieces from all over the world.  And I saw this great book (that I can't afford) called Graffiti Zoo that I want to get soooo bad.

thanks for the complements, it's actually a canvas i have hanging on my wall..the graff in the background is my bedroom wall.lol.  To answer ya question Tantative, my early influences were from only NYC writers,My style is a true New York style, my influences were Ces, Cope and Seen. And for Harley's questions.. I rarely do canvases, my medium is mostly walls. As for the crew..KD (Kings Destroy) has been around since 79 ,before i was even born, Its the most well known graff crew in NYC, you guys can read up more on the crew and some graff at http://www.kingsofnewyork.net or http://www.artcrimes.com.... I'm working on another canvas with the riffs as the basis, i'll post up as soon as its done.

I did some grafitti. Not too bad. (NOT ILLEAGEL). It WAS 3:00 am as T7 guessed for Deem Kid, but It was kinda funny how it happend. I was out there and some guy went by in a car, and he was listening to some crappy old rap song constantly saying "boyz in da hood.. boyz in da hood" and it made me laugh so hard I wrote that instead of 'The Desolators'. (I gotta get a rep started!) LOL
