Christ maybe Ajax was gay too since he was always questioning everyone else's sexuality.  There's a good case for it. Maybe that was some physchological defense mechanism for represses homosexuals.  Truth is any gang menber in the movie coulda been gay.  Looks don't mean jack! get over it!

I'd say that he tried avoiding the Lizzies, because he had a strange feeling about it all, being so welcomed to come to their hangout and all - and I have seen a lot of other people saying this, too. Just by looking at him, you can tell by his the expression on his face that he has an odd feeling about the Lizzies and what's going on. And we can't prove that Rembrandt wasn't gay, but I don't think that Walter Hill was intending to make it seem like Rembrandt was a homo-sexual. But anyways, who really cares if he was supposed to be or not. It doesn't matter, because it's not a huge deal, and he's not even a real person. These topics are so pathedic.
