ok so I am really into the supernatural, not just the TV show, but I like to read about haunted places, and maybe investigate a few if they are close to me. I was wonder if any of you had any experiences with the paranormal you would like to share? there is a site with haunted place all over the world theshadowlands.net. maybe come 09 we can even maybe check out a few haunted places around NYC?

ok i had one weird encounter when i was alone in my house with only my trusty companion... my dog.
i was watching tv in my room with my dog at my feet and for some reason he jumped to his feet very abruptly and started growling and stairing at this one point, i got up ,as by this time i was a pretty frightened because of all the stuff people say about dogs being able to see things us humans cant etc. so anyway he just wouldent stop so i calmed him down and he fell back to sleep. about ten minutes later the same thing happened only this time he jumped up as if some one had prodded him (im not saying that i know that someone prodded him it just looked like some thing made him jump) and this time he was going crazy and he jumped onto my bed and was in a stance like he was ready to pounce then i herd a door slam down stairs ( i swere this aint b/s ) and my dog heded down barking frantically. i went out of my room (with the compony of my throwing knife ) and looked down from the top of my stairs, i was half way down when my dog came running past me at a super doggy speed and jumped onto my bed (when i first saw him he scared the crud out of me )
i dnt no where he was for that scary couple of minutes or why he ran straight past me with not as much as a look  but what i do know is that from that night on my houses atmosphere has never  been the same...
summore stuff has happened around my house but nothing to seriously scary.

Truth be told I don't really believe in ghosts, or not the conventional kind anyway. I do think though they there is a type of lifeforce a human being has, and if that persons life force doesn't die with them then it remians here.

I think a lot of ghost sightings are mostly due to placebo effect actually. That's not to say I'd want to spend a night in a mansion where people had been murdered! I just don't really believe in traditional ghosts, but more things that you can't see.

Well, there is one thing I've always wondered, and that is: Why would 'god' create humans or really anything that is living only on one planet? Obviously, I think that he wouldn't. Also, I've always wondered: Can cats and dogs see spirits? They always look at things in the air, and even though you don't see it, it has the same face as when they look at you.

I remember, I was like six. I lived in a crappy neighbourhood, and I don't know if it was a drunk trying to scare me, if I was having a nightmare, or it was a ghost. I was lying in bed, restless. I was scared, like I was alot of the time. I heard a noise and I got out of bed. I saw a shadow under my room door, and I jumped back into bed like any six year old would have. I held the blankets up to my neck and watched, as my door opened, and even though the shadow was there, no person was. The door shut and then I started crying. My parents came in to see what was wrong, and naturally didn't believe me. And if you guys don't believe this, go right ahead. I know what happend.

Actually i had a really freaky experience when i was 8 or 9 years old. I was living in Juarez/ mexico, and it was about 11 at night. It was my first day of school, and i coudnt go to sleep. I kept staring at the wimdow in my roon, then suddenly i saw a lot of white dots floating in the air, then the dots turned into the shape of a human, a transparent shape, NO KIDDING!! When i was peeing my pijamas suddenly this form pointed at me, then i suddenly heard an ambulance siren, then the form dissapear into the white dots again, and the dots just vanished. I know this may sound weird to you guys, but THIS ISNT A JOKE!!
I clearly remember this happening to me.

i remember being home alone once watching tv. i didn't feel anything but suddenly my cats ran out of the room. i didn't think anything of it at first but then my dogs ears pricked up and the room got colder (i swear it got colder) my dog got up and growled for a bit then he sat back down again. i was so scared that night

i know that this doesnt have anything to do with gosts but ill tell yall any way.
ok me and cubs and wer out up on a campsite just messing around causing havoc and what not, so any way it was real dark and was about 9:30 pm and something caught my eye i looked round and cubs was looking at it too, it was a ball of light, looked no bigger than a rugby ball ( same kinda shape too ) it went over our heads at about 10 ft above us at quite a slow pace then it quickly went up ( at what seemed a vertical angle for about another 5 ft) it drifted forwards for a bit then sped off!
absolutly no joke! cubs can back me up 100% on this one!! we thought maby it could have been a fire work but at how quickly the angle changed and the shape and intensity of the light , no way.... this was something else.

mine is when im at my great grandmas house i always feel like someone's watching me, and when i slept over my cousins house i swear i could of saw a little girl on my cousins bed, i was sleeping on the floor so i woke up like at 5.00 am when its 5.00 am thers light out but not that day theres was t storm going on so it was pitch black so i was looking aorund the dark room and i saw the outline of a litte girl walking towards me with a doll, i was damn scared a coverd my self with the blankets. my cousins house is really haunted for real his little sister used to talk to someone but stoped after they moved out, he always saw something in that house, like in the late 70's they had to blees the house cause it was so haunted, my grandmas cousin lives ther still, she always has.  i love getting scared as much as i love trish stratus.

  My freind all of the sudden started telling me about weird stuff happening in his house.
Anyway back to the sotry ok i was at my house getting ready to leave and told my mom i was going to his house. I'm riding my bike to his house and finaly get there. Soon as i got to the driveway i looked in the window by his front door and saw a Dark figure that looked like it had a kacket on and it was facing right at me. I left the house and told him about it on the phone and he was freaked out. I have not been there since and do not plan to go anytime soon.
