Stadium Arcadium?

So who here has picked up the new RHCP album? How many were dissapointed!? :p A lot of people didn't like By The Way but I did, so I was looking foreward to Stadium Arcadium as well but I felt that about half the songs they could have scrapped, it's got a few good tracks but with emphasis on "few".

I was expecting better from the chillis  :doubt:

i was very disappointed by the Chilis this time.. like you i liked By the Way but this was very Drab... i mean the best song on the Album isnt even theirs (Dani California = Last Dance with Mary Jane)... there is a few other good tracks but from 28 thats pretty poor... its alrite but its not good enough for the Chilis

The Chili Peppers are song artists not albums. A couple of their albums have 3-5 songs that are good, some just 1.  Thank God for burning/downloading the cd now. This album shouldn't be that good. Top 3 albums.

i downloaded 10 tracks from the new album and i gotta say i'm disappointed. like journey said a few are good but i am not buying the full album

It's like I've said for the past two years, there are bands trying to be like GreenDay, even GreenDay are trying to be like GreenDay and failing.

This is what's been going on with RHCP, they're pumping the same stuff out, it isn't original anymore - my sister made me listen to this new album, after I made these comments - she tried to prove me wrong and should have known better. Yes I am not surprised you guys are dissapointed.....you bought this album a few years ago didn't you?
