Baddest Intro/Entrance

The best entrance for me is the Saracens. The way they bowl (walk) and that guy with the big hair behind Edge, the leader. Some cool fellas.
The worst entrance / appearance has to be the Savage Huns. Sure, they're tuff and all, but looking like pixies just doesn't do them justice!

i have to say the saracens have one of the funniest entrances bounding down the platform all pouting and strutting their stuff

I love the hi Hats entrance, but I gotta give it up for the Boppers.  I think it's the way the music builds up to a crescendo, then you see the first person shot of the subway, then the drums kick in and you see nine gangsta pimps struttin down that corridor.

I think that's the moment you realize this ain't no ordinary gang movie.

You know what?  Think about the Rogue's intro.  Not the glimpse of them before Cyrus talks, but those pasty hands passing that gun along the line until it falls into Luther's hand and he makes that evil face and then bang.  That's a strong introduction too.

I think it would have been kind of cool to have The Warriors run into at least one other gang on the subway ride to The Bronx. Think about it - they rode from Coney to the Bronx - 27 miles. 100 gangs attended the conclave - you would think they would have to have run into at least one other gang on the way there.

It would have been kind of cool to see them on the train and the doors open, and some other gang file in, both gangs staring each other down but doing nothing because of the truce.

Good post. I've always thought that would've been a great idea. What if the Hi-Hats or the Savage Huns got on? How would Ajax stop himself from making a wisecrack about their appearance.

If another gang got on, I can just see one of them sitting down near Ajax and him putting his feet up on the seat so they can't sit down and then giving them a sneery, what-you-gonna-do-about-it look. Then Cleon would tell him to knock it off and he'd relent.

Now that I think about it, that does always have a pretty strong affect no matter how many times I see it. Roger Hill give his amazing performance (which should've won an Oscar) and you think everything's gravy...then the gun comes out and Luther begins a night of hell for the Warriors that no one saw coming...unless you've seen the movie or a preview Another unobvious observation by emissary 8)

I quite like the Boyle Avenue Runners entrance. Just the way the guy at the front walks down the steps, half dancing, swaying his shoulders and hes all smiles. Oh man he aint gonna be all smiles after the meeting lol

The eliminators stand out in my mind. the saracens intro is cool but you can tell that they think they are cooler than they are

the worst for me is the moonrunners although they are 1 of mi favorite gangs all u see is there torso nd them goin through the turnstiles
but the best 4 me is the sarecens they look like a heavy set from that view

The Saracens have a cool intro mainly because of the giant dude in the back, I'd try my best to stay away from him.

the furies aren't my favorite gang but they got the baddest entrance... the way they come up the stairs each grabbin a bat...its like they're getting ready for battle

I liked the Hi hats entrance, although mimes in New York City come a dime a dozen, seeing those freaks enter the turnstile cage and come out to the platform looked wicked. If you notice, there is a Hi Hat in the back who can't wait his turn to get in and come out, I guess he really wanted to be in the shot. Heh.
