Your Views Wanted For Forum Changes

Now the forum's up and running, I'd like to hear your views on how it could be improved. Here are a couple I've thought up:

Restricting posts to 5 a day, unless you are of Warrior affiliation.

Changing the rank system so that 100 posts is no longer a Warrior and that to earn that status you have to be initiated by approval of fellow Warriors. I.e. - people who don't submit quality and rush to become a Warrior won't get in.

More moderators (Jamie and I at the moment).

Other people have asked for:

Restrictions on new members entering the forum.

I LOVE THE IDEAS,ALOT,I LOVE THE WHOLE IDEA OF VOTING A PERSON IN, THIS WAY WE CAN SEPERATE THE FAN FROM THE REAL WARRIORS.. I AM ALSO A MAN TO ADMIT THAT I WAS AT FIRST TRYING TO RUSH TO BE A WARRIOR. BUT SLOWLY AND SURELY,I HAVE COME TO LOVE THIS FORUM,AND ALL OF MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS ON IT..AND I CONTINUOUSLY THANK THE WARCHIEFS FOR GIVING THIS WARRIOR,A CHANCE TO SHOW,THAT HE IS WORTHY OF THE COLORS,HE MOST PROUDLY WEARS..

I'd like to see posting restrictions for all members, regardless of rank. Maybe 10 per day for Warriors and 5 for everyone else, moderators excluded, of course.

Also, a separate section or dumping ground for polls.

And somewhere, perhaps uder forum rules, a list of netetiquette--- posting in caps, excessive swearing, etc...

We are doing the swearing bit some people listen more then others. I have added rules and people will be hunted down if they break them from now on. No more let offs as we will go 100% by the rules.

I don't like the idea of only 10 posts a day because I don't always get to come on everyday. Sometimes once a week. When I do come on, I'm on this site for a good 2 hours reading everyone's posts and I usually reply to alot of them.

I would like to set up those chats that were mentioned earlier on. If we divided members that wanted to participate by their areas I'm sure we could have weekly chats and then maybe once a month all the groups or possibly group leaders could get together to discuss new ideas and such for the site.

Gareth, maybe you shoul change your name back as some people refer to Warcheif meaning Jamie now.

I have to agree with Snowball Fury. Sometimes if I get busy and don't get to check in for awhile, I also spend a LOT of time here on board--and when I do, I tend to answer whatever posts I have a reply to--and being limited to a daily quota, wouldn't let me deal with the different threads the way I like to.

I always thought that warchief and warlord were the same rank--it was just a matter of terminology, and location. Newer gangs seem to use the warchief title, in the old days, 50s and 60 it was warlord. Depends on where you were and how the gang viewed things like that., but the responsibilities of the rank were about the same with either title. but that is just my own view.

i was thinking along the lines of the word 'lord' as being the highest, like a deity. literally speaking-- a chief is a leader, head of a dept. or high official. a lord on the other hand is a master or ruler.

i personally would like a few more avatars in the gallery,maybe a few more of the furies(like the purple and black furie)and an avatar of the moonrunners logo and so on.

We should have a rule that only one person can have a specific avatar that way we can accociate a person with their av. Just a thought.

I'll try and add some more avatars next week some time. You can also make your own and upload them to the site (try and keep the file sizes low and avoid heavy animations!).

I'll get some more of Cowboy and Furies and some logos as requested as well as some other stuff.

yo ive been trying to make a avater for ever but i can never seem to get it too work. ive cut the picture alot so that the size isnt to big but it never uploads. so can you either help me with it or just put it under the avatar selection
