I liked the orignal opening scene, but I also agree it shouldn't have been during the day. Now if they had shot it at night time, that would have been great to see in the movie.

Yeah it would have been better if it was shot at night. If would like to see all the deleted scenes, but if they were to come out on a special edition dvd I would like them to be special features and not part of the main feature movie. That way the movie stays the same if the deleted scenes were external features.

The original scene is cool because it's explains a lot and introduces all of the Warriors for you. Plus it makes the ending when Swan talks about fighting all night make more scense.

That site is where I even first saw the deleted scenes, after a few fans backed out on sending me a VHS of them with expenses paid by me, for whatever reason in the world. (This was all before I found this message board and site.)

Actually, if there is a bopper who can still do that for me, let me know, I'd pay expenses or maybe I have something to trade.

But yes, that is a GREAT site!

I've sent a mail to the BBC and ABC as they have shown the special edition version.

Will let you know if they reply!

When I watched the movie, I did not think about it being daylight at the beginning. This scene is gives us some background information about each warrior and his job for the trip to the Bronx. Read my signature. IMO it says it all and without that scene we would know absolutely nothing about them. Late!
I know a lot of you aren't too happy about going out on patrol. Just remember this. Out of a street family of 120 plus affiliates, you were chosen for this expedition and that makes you special!
