And he also gave a bad name to Muslims everywhere.  You see, I am a Muslim, a growing up stereotyped was really hard.  People constantly calling me a terrorist, and assuming that the Islamic religion was only meant for pure evil.  He rewrote the Qur-an in his image, and made us all look bad.  Maybe we can bring back honor, pride,respect, and most off pure goodness back into the the Muslim community.  It was always there, but hopefully people can look at us for what we really are, good people.

But I thought muslims think that in order to bring back their masia they needed to shake the earth by some powerful, lets say, nuke? And it seems the place they think they need to do that just happens to be in the U.S.?

well there you go again Trixter468, that would be another stereotype.  The people that hurt America, are not Muslims.  Any act of terrorism against innocent lives, means you automatically are not a Muslim, or any other religion for that matter.  like i said, they are evil doers who need an excuse to commit these acts of murder, so they rewrite the Islamic religion, and give it a bad name.  its like this, in every culture, and religion.  There are people who commit acts of evil, and say its for a cause, that is not justified.  The Muslim religion is a good religion, just like any other religion out there. I am a good man who was put on this Earth, to live in the pursuit of happiness, and i happen to be Muslim.  Time repeats itself, just like how the Japanese Americans were treated in WW2, because people stereotyped them as not being Americans. i don't mean to pull the race card, but just like other cultures, i am tired of being stereotyped as an evil person. I am an Arab American who is glad that Saddam is dead, so we can have pride in our culture, and I believe every walk of life wants this.

Also, what do you mean "Do we have to make  topic for everithing that happends in the real world?". This was a major event. A dictator whom has been on trial for years was finally given justice. I don't see how you think a thread was unwarranted. Excuse me for paying attention to the real world

It just seems like people want attention with all this posts.. sonner or later they are going to find out anyways.. 

You could say that about any bit of news in O/T. The fact is that I didn't post this to let people know, I posted it with the intention of starting discussion, which is the purpose of this forum.

I know the purpose off the forum, ive been longer here than you have. It just bothered me that everywere i went they were showing videos of the guy being hanged, it was like if people were getting enjoyment out of this.

Some people may get enjoyment out of the fact that he is dead, he has killed many people... and ruined the lives of many others. GramercyRiff99 is right this is a major event, and it does deserve a discussion. Everyone was going to find out he was dead eventually, but the purpose of the topic was to read other peoples opinions on wether or not it was a good or bad thing to do. And what they think will come as a result of his death.
