Cowboys Hat

Dont know if anyone has posted this but..
Does anyone know how Cowboys hat stays on his head with out falling ?
When the warriors are running away from the Turnbulls he is running fast as yet his hat doesnt fall off.
That also goes for others scenes in the movie were he is running

I guess the producers didn't want him stopping to pick his hat up all the time, so they had it stay on. Movies are excempt from basic rules of nature you see

No, he probably had it tied to his head (i.e under his chin) or something with acting wire(like see-through) That way, no-one would notice it.

Or it really WAS magic!!

Well there are certain people who have a possession that they love so much, that it seems to become a part of the.  It makes them who they are, and can never separate from them.  It becomes part of their mind, body, and soul, all rapped up into one.  Its almost as if Cowboys hat had a mind of its own, and became a security blanket for him.  Therefore a certain object can't seem to ever be disconnected from you, because it becomes a being of an unusual aura and essence, that is now part of this world.

Im thinking that it fit him properly so it was seldom to falling off... That and magic.
There is actually a movie mistake in the Furies chase where the Furie smacks him and it falls off his head but then it cuts to a shot from the other side and he is still wearing the hat!!!!! Amazing! I guess Adam88 was right, its become part of him...

maybe Cowboy's head was big enough or the hat was small enough for the hat to fit tightly it would not have been able to fall off...

...then again there's always that clear wire under his chin and tied to the hat...

...actually isn't there one scene where he's holding on to his hat while running? I swear I've seen that somewhere in the movie

His stetson hat should stay on cowboys ride horses and stuff so I'm just guessing it was made to stay on during tuff rides.
