Converse all stars may look cool and have a cult following, but as far as quality goes, they suck more than a hoover.
When i was a teenager, converse were the cheapest training shoe you could buy (£2.99). Now your lucky if you can find a pair under £35. Theyve not changed at all. They still rip just behind the toes, theyre about as waterproof as tissue paper, they soak up sweat, a pain in the buttocks to put on and dont offer that much cushioning when your feet pound the pavement.
I'll choose reeboks over other trainers. Got to stick to my british roots.

Well they do. Even though I just messed mine up by mowing the lawn with them. I still think they stand out among all the others. Whenever I see them I always point them out. They're above the crowd as far as footwear is concerned.

Re: nike vs addidas vs convers vs vans
converse are good as day to day casual shoes but when playing sports addidas are far greater, i can't run as fast in converse which is a problem when playing football.

Yeah, they're great but they don't work very well for rough sports or very long distance running. The only other shoe I wear is No Boundries. For some reason.

Got to say Converse here, quality shoe got a few pairs. They are smart, comfy.. they are the shizz!
I also wear other shoes like Adidas forest hills, they are the comfyest shoe going!
Vans are hurendous... there too big!
