Great pics! Thanks. The one which shows the backs of most of the Warriors looks like the picture on the back cover of Dell's paperback version of the book released to coincide with the film's release in '79.

Looks like they DID film the scene with Swan throwing the knife on the boardwalk.....

About the picture with Swan and the knife on the boardwalk...about 10 years ago, well before all the licensed (and non-licensed) Warriors gear began surfacing, I saw a t-shirt in a skate shop with a still of Swan crouching along the wall on the boardwalk, clutching the knife.

Interestingly, there was no mention of the Warriors anywhere on the shirt and, as it was a shot taken from a scene which does not exist in the released film, it would be hard for most people to place the picture/t-shirt with the film. I find it odd that whoever produced the shirt made little to no effort to make note of what it was referencing. I still think it was pretty cool in that respect, not to mention that the picture was great, and I kick myself for not buying the shirt even though it was an extra-large.

BTW, I still have not seen the supercool pic which appeared on that t-shirt again. Perhaps joepal will surprise us...
